Did you know that we received $3,500 for collecting box tops last year? Let's get a jump start on making more money for next year by collecting box tops over the summer! The one class from each grade that collects the most will have a beginning of the school year popsicle party. Remember summer time is a good time to collect box tops not only from your home, but from friends and family(like grandparents) who want to help our school.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION - Announcing new box tops contest that runs through Tuesday, May 11th. See collection sheet for details. Thanks for a wonderful box top year. We have now earned over $3,100. And the winner of the raffle is Daniel Coll - Thank you to First American Title for donating the Ipod Nano. Mrs. Stapleton won the $100 for classroom with the most box tops at 2,869 and Ms. Cook & Mrs. Keppinger came in close winning a gift certificate from Buffalo Grille. Hopefully you all got your new collection sheet for the Box Top Raffle - Bring in 10 Box Tops to be entered to win over 50 prizes with the Grand Prize being an IPOD nano.  One entry for every 10 box tops!  New Prizes will be added.

POWER OF 1

Box Tops is having a contest called Power of 1..  With 50 new friends who sign up to support Briargrove we have a chance to win 5000 box tops.   You all have made Briargrove and Box Tops a great success.  In December we will receive a check for $2100 and hopefully we can make much more.  Each person who signs up we receive a bonus of 5 Box tops ($.50) Here is a link to the Power of 1! to forward to your friends and family and you can sign up on more than one email address.  So far we have 5 new friends we need 45 to be entered in this contest by December 1st.  What is so great is you can see immediately how many new friends we have on this link - under Progress. (Email your confirmation email to Kathleen Haley at kathleen.haley@sbcglobal.net to have your 5 bonus box tops added to your students total)

Congratulations to everyone who brought 50 or more box tops during Contest 2!  If your name is on the list below, you have earned an un-uniform day this Monday November 9th.  Check with your teacher this Thursday or Friday to receive your Awards Sticker to wear Monday.

Box Tops for Education has 2 collection deadlines for 2009 - 2010.
Oct. 31st 2009 with a check mailed out in December.

Save your boxtops all summer long, the class with the most boxtops will win an ice cream sundae party.  Turn in your collection sheets with your childs name and teachers name on your collection sheets or a ziploc bag.  The class with the most Box Tops will win.  Turn in all your box tops by Friday, September 11th.
