• Fall Party – Usually held in September, it's a couple’s mixer. Plan to attend because it's a great way to get to know the Briargrove community and catch up with people after the summer break. Fall Party Sept. 24th, 7pm sign up here. 
• Fundraiser– We have a golf tournament or skeet shoot every Spring to raise funds and promote a community spirit amongst the Dad’s at Briargrove.  Family and friends are welcome.
• Dads' Club Raffle – For a small donation people can drop their name in the hat to receive 1of 3 or 4 grown up toys that anyone would love to have.   The drawing is held at the fall Carnival .
• Pumpkin Sale – Heralds the coming of fall at Briargrove.  Pumpkins are painted by an all volunteer force and sold as a fund raiser. Painted Pumpkins, Naked Pumpkins, and donuts for all! Saturday, October 10th - 9:00 AM to 12 Noon
• Haunted House – Every year the dad’s club creates a unique haunted house for all to enjoy at the fall Carnival.
• Grillin’ with the guys – The Dad’s club grills burgers and dogs as a part of the food sales at the fall Carnival.

The Dads' Club was founded in 1995 by David and Melanie Frazier, and was created to encourage Briargrove Dads to become more involved in school activities by creating an environment where we can utilize our time and talents while having fun. The Dads' Club has grown over the last few years to include many different activities and fund-raising events with the largest being the annual Golf Tournament.   Since it's inception and with the help of contributing sponsors the Dads' Club has been responsible for, or been a significant contributor to, the following projects:

For our new building

• Provided the brick and wrought iron fence around the perimeter of the school
• Provided the covered brick patio

For the original building

• Installed sound system in the cafeteria
• Purchased TVs for the school
• Wired the school for CATV and provided equipment to create BGTV
• Wired the school for technology, including Internet access
• Provided a covered play area over the blacktop with the "Raise the Roof" Project
• Coordinated and/or directly funded the donation and installation of over 65 computers
• Purchased 6 digital cameras (one for each grade) for use on class projects

With your help, we can make the Dads' Club a success. Every Briargrove Dad is already a member! There are no dues or fees to join, so get involved. All you have to do is come to one of the meetings, or email us to find out how you can help. We look forward to getting to know you!

All proceeds will help the Dads' Club achieve its goal of making our new school more aesthetically pleasing, covering items (such as a nice fence surrounding the school) which are not included in the HISD construction budget.
