EARTH DAY: EARTH DAY 2010 is April 22, 2010 and is the 40th ANNIVERSARY OF EARTH DAY!! Help all of Briargrove honor the GREEN GENERATION with “WE ARE THE WORLD- - BRIARGROVE EARTH DAY 2010”. We as a community have worked hard all year recycling, turning off lights, and using less water. Let’s reward ourselves with a symbol that we will keep to remind us that everyday is EARTH DAY! On Thursday, April 22nd, all students will come together in the shape of the Earth - land and sea - in front of the school wearing blue or green shirts. Teachers will have a job as well - they’ll hold up signs showing the Roadrunner Spirit. A photo will be taken “from above” to commemorate the occasion. If you’d like to find out more about how you and your family can keep Earth Day in every day, please visit this link http://ww2.earthday.net/greenyourschool4.pdf - If you’d like to join the fun, contact Stephanie Schindler at swshindler@yahoo.com or 713-298-5339.
