We are so honored by all the community and family support for our school. Supporting the PTO benefits our school in many ways. Below is a list of things that the PTO funds for Briargove.
- 3 HPD officers before and after school to manage carpool traffic
- 2 Xerox machines in teacher workroom
- On campus counseling services | Extended P.E. program | Teachers’ Room Fund | 3rd Grade Writers in Schools Program
- Visiting author
- Professional development for teachers (training in newest learning strategies)
- Workbooks for students
- Enrichment Teachers' Fund
- Teacher appreciation
- Supplemental grounds maintenance and landscaping
- 4th grade field trip to the Alamo in San Antonio to augment study of Texas History
- 5th grade Patriot Day's, memory books, graduation party
- In addition, we wish to have the funds next year to purchase more technology equipment for the classrooms, build gardens/natural habitats, and strengthen our curriculum enhancement before school activities.

BG Dining(and shopping) for Dollars Eat lunch or dinner in November at Zoe's Kitchen, 5779 San Felipe and Zoe's will donate 20% of our group's entire day's sales back to school! Happy Eating.
Recognize your child's birthday and help BG too. Fill out this form: Birthday Boosters. Your child will be recognized on the school marquee, BGTV and receive special recognition the day of their birthday.

- HEB Bags - The BG Science Lab receives $1.00 for every pound of recycled HEB plastic bags. Click here to see how to roll up your bags. Then, drop them off at the Science Lab! Find out more on the HEB Website. ($180 earned so far.)
- Allied recycle bin - While driving through carpool at the back drive, you'll see 2 dumpsters to your left. The recycle bin is the green one. Place plastics and aluminum in large clear plastic bags. Click below for pictures of what to recycle. ($300 earned so far.)
- Elmer's Glue Program (New!) - Elmer’s Glue Crew! We will be recycling Elmer’s glue bottles and glue sticks. If you would like more information on this exciting new program, please follow the link: http://elmersgluecrew.com/

Our big spring fundraiser! This adult party is a great way to socialize and get to know some of the other parents.
Yard Signs
Show your Briargrove spirit at home! Adorn your garden or potted plant with an attractive Briargrove Roadrunner. Handmade locally of metal with a beautiful patina finish. Stop by the front office to see them person. Bring $45 check or cash. You are sure to want one!
Villagio's Italian Grill
Villagio's Italian Grill which is located at 5777 San Felipe (at Bering) has offered to donate 15% of your dinner ticket when you dine in the restaurant on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday nights. Simply tell your server at the beginning of the meal that you are a Briargrove parent and they will take care of the rest! See the attached flyer for more information.
